Mike is originally from Miramichi, New Brunswick, but fell in love with the greater Saint John area when he was in Physiotherapy school and ended up doing three of his five clinical placements in the area, including one at Rehab1 Quispamsis!. Mike finished his physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie in December of 2024, alongside which he completed a secondary thesis based Masters in Rehabilitation Research. Mike is also a graduate of the kinesiology program from UNB Fredericton in 2021. During Mikes time in university, he gained extensive knowledge of exercise prescription and planning, which was highlighted by being a Strength and Conditioning student working alongside varsity athletes at UNB. He enjoys translating this knowledge to individuals of all ages, not just athletes, as Mike believes everyone can benefit from exercise and will tailor his exercise prescription to meet your needs and goals. Mike also employs other techniques such as manual therapy to best meet your needs.
Outside of work, Mike is a former member of the UNB rugby team and played several other sports such as hockey and baseball when growing up in Miramichi. Now that he is older, he has turned to golf, his skills of which he is still working on. A lifelong student, Mike is continuously learning and hopes to complete additional courses in concussion rehabilitation alongside completing the AIM courses to improve his manual therapy skills
